Recruitment Manager – Galway

 

An opportunity has arisen with Sigmar Recruitment to join our Galway Office as our new Recruitment Manager.

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Manager to lead a talented team of recruiters in our Galway office. As the Recruitment Manager, you will play a pivotal role in cultivating the team culture, driving team performance, developing and managing client relationships and managing day-to-day operations. Each member of the Galway team specialise in recruitment for specific areas including Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, HR, Finance, Office, Customer Service and Sales & Marketing.

Responsibilities

Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of recruiters to achieve and exceed recruitment targets

  • Provide guidance, training, and ongoing support to foster professional development

  • Cultivate a positive and collaborative team culture that values excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement

  • Embrace and encourage internal team collaboration

  • Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track team and individual performance

  • Implement a robust performance management system to track individual and team performance against established KPIs

  • Conduct regular performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for improvement

  • Recognize and reward high-performing team members, fostering a culture of excellence and motivation

  • Showcase a growth mindset by driving candidate and account development activities as well as new business development

  • Hire and onboard / train in new team members

Operations Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows

  • Develop and optimize internal processes to enhance productivity and streamline operations

  • Generate regular reports to assess recruitment metrics and identify areas for improvement

  • Ensure team adherence to internal policies and procedures

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience as a Recruitment Manager or Team Lead 

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Recruiter at a high level (Contract or Perm Recruitment)

  • Experience with Performance Management and Stakeholder Management

  • Working knowledge of how Agency Recruitment works

  • Good attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills

  • Process orientated and ability to implement new and restructure process within a team environment

  • Knowledge and understanding of the work practices, processes and procedures for a Recruitment Team
