Recruitment Manager, Construction – Dublin

Sigmar Recruitment is hiring for an experienced Manager to drive performance and grow our Construction division further.

 

This is both a strategic and tactical role; strategic in that you will be able to shape the strategy of the construction recruitment team for years to come, defining the verticals we operate in and how we face up to the changing nature of construction – sustainability, MMC, renewables, and all in the face of acute skills shortages. On the tactical side, it will be leading the team in the correct behaviours and activities to drive the short- and medium-term results to make Sigmar the number 1 construction recruitment team in Ireland.

 

You will be afforded the freedom to make decisions and shape the team as you wish, and you will be supported by a fantastic back-office function in both finance, marketing, IT and legal to enable you to do your job.

 

This is a billing leader position whilst leading a team of established recruiters.

Responsibilities

  • Leading a team of high performing recruitment consultants – everything from target setting, performance management, coaching, and delegation

  • Growth and development of the division, driving business development activities

  • Hiring new team members as divisional growth requires

  • Providing the vital link between clients and candidates

  • 360 recruiter duties: candidate sourcing, business development (existing and new clients), candidate screening and support (interviewing, consultation, interview preparation)

  • Achieving core KPIs and sales targets – setting realistic expectations and tracking to achievement

  • Being an ambassador for your team and company at market events and client meetings

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in recruiting (more is always welcome!)

  • Previous people management experience within recruitment – leading a high performing team

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Confident communicator

  • Commercially minded with an interest in how businesses work

  • Results driven with ambition and drive

  • Performs best under pressure
